Vinyl is one of our favorite things, but getting into that world can be daunting if you don’t already have a turntable and speakers. Fortunately, Victrola is aiming to make that process easier with the Premiere V1 record player stereo system it just debuted at CES 2022.
The system includes the V1 Stereo Turntable and the S1 Subwoofer, but there’s more there than meets the eye. As its name suggests, the Stereo Turntable has a stereo component built right into the two-speed belt-driven wooden turntable. Of course, Victrola also packed in some massive anti-vibration tech into the aluminum platter to keep things running smoothly.
It also comes with a 45 RPM adapter, a custom aluminum tonearm, and a VPC-190 moving cartridge. Our Editor-in-Chief, Josh Hendrickson, had a chance to check out the Premiere V1 at CES 2022 this week and was delighted by its massive volume and clarity of sound.
Victrola’s Premiere V1 offers an easy way to create a solid (and stylish) turntable setup for those who don’t want to spend time picking out individual stereo system components or drop several thousands of dollars on a high-end setup. It also supports Bluetooth streaming and TV connectivity via optical connection, and includes a multi-function remote control.
It’s available now through the company’s site for $499.99, and comes with a silicon slipmat, dust cover, digital optical cable, and multi-function remote control with batteries.
